MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT -ADOPT A PARK

The City Government of Baguio through Mayor Benjamin Magalong and the Baguio Correspondents and Broadcasters Club (BCBC) represented by its President Thomas F. Picaña, publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Amianan Balita Ngayon ,sign the agreement adopting a portion of land at Lake Drive, Burnham Park, Baguio City. The historic event was held on Friday (Dec. 20, 2024) at the city mayor’s office. Witnesses in the signing are BCBC officials and members, and City Environment and Parks Management Office Engineer Marivic Empizo.

The adopted lot will be named ‘Camp Peppot Ilagan’ in honor of the late Ilagan, past president of the club , and editor-in-chief of the defunct Gold Ore and together with past BCBC officials envisioned a permanent place to hold media activities foremost the annual search of Baguio Lucky Summer Visitor(s) witnesses are Brics Domondon, Zaldy Comanda, Joseph Cabanas, Migs Velarde, Malen Catajan, Joseph Hermogeno(CEPMO).
