Murderer Caught After 22 Years

BAGUIO CITY (June 12, 2021) — Three of the topmost wanted personalities in Aurora and Nueva Viscaya already fell into the hands of authorities following operations by the Philippine Army’s 91st Infantry Battalion with the Aurora police.
Lieutenant Colonel Reandrew Rubio, commanding officer of the 91IB, said Joel Valencia, the “Top 5 Most Wanted” in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya who was hiding in the coastal Barangay of San Luis, Aurora on June 8, 2021.   He reportedly hid for 22 years for frustrated murder.
The brother of Joel Valencia, Michael Valencia, who was also hunted for frustrated murder, was earlier taken on June 1 in Barangay Dibut, San Luis, Aurora.
Earlier on in March,  soldiers together with policemen caught NPA leader Delfin Pimentel in Aurora.
The commander of the 7th Infantry Division, Major General Alfredo V. Rosario Jr, said that soldiers will always be in full support to the police in assisting them catch criminals and making them liable to their crimes, in the name of peace and order in the community.
