Number of adult vaccines climb further

Baguio City – As of Dec. 10, Baguio’s vaccinated adults overshoots further the target of 262,185 as pegged by the Department of Health (DOH).
In its report, the DoH target of 262,185 represents 70% of Baguio’s adults, part of the region’s 1,275,904 (70% of the) eligible population.
Baguio has already vaccinated 118.02% adults for the first dose, and 100.87% are already fully vaccinated, as of Dec. 10.
The numbers climbed from 116.57 for those who had their first dose, and 97.17% for the fully vaccinated, on Dec. 3.
On both dates, Baguio City ranked first from seven (Abra, Apayao, Baguio, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga and Mt. Province) areas in the cordilleras, in having adults vaccinated for first and second doses.
Benguet with the highest population, 338,754; among the provinces, had only 43.72% fully vaccinated and 59.41% first dosed, as of Dec. 10.
Apayao with the lowest population; 87,310 is 66.01% fully vaccinated, and 87.21% first dosed. For the whole region, with the target population of 1,275,904; 79.54% are first dosed, while 58.84% are fully vaccinated.
