Organic Food for a stronger generation

Educator's Corner Health Opinion

Good nutrition boosts student performance in all aspects. The health of students is commonly linked to their academic standing or achievement.

Promoters of organic food suggest that great consumption of organic products leads to the reduction of common illnesses, cancers and even combats obesity which is evident to most young people these days.

Consuming organic produce may reduce our exposure to toxic, pesticide residues, and antibiotic resistant bacteria. We have to make sure to eat smart, provide our children with healthy food that can improve brain function, memory and concentration.

Eating healthy food will balance our kids’ energy level for optimal attentiveness, intensify their focus and improve their academic performance. Several studies show that organic foods generally contain higher levels of antioxidants such as vitamin C, Zinc and Iron. In fact, antioxidant levels can be up to 69% high. Go for organic foods.

Healthy kids, successful students result to stronger communities, and as always, health is wealth.
