Pagkakamali ng PNP, magpapabagsak kay Pres. Duterte – Chief PNP

CAMP OSCAR FLORENDO, LA UNION – Binabantayan ng mga kritiko ang kaunting pagkalingat ng Philippine National Police upang gamitin sa pagpapabagsak sa administrasyon ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte.
Ito ang nasabi ni PNP Chief Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa sa kanyang pagbisita sa kampong ito sa Barangay Parian, San Fernando City, La Union noong hapon ng Oktubre 5, 2017.
Aniya, ito ay dahil ang PNP ang pinakamalapit na organisasyon sa presidente sa kanyang adbokasiya kontra sa ilegal na droga.
“The misdeeds of police scalawags will capitalized by the opposition and anti-Duterte administration to destroy us because it is not really the target is the PNP, the real target is the President. They want to destroy the President through the PNP because they knew that we are the closest organization to the heart of the President because he trusts us in implementing his centerpiece project on drug war,” ani Dela Rosa sa harap ng mga pulis at iba pang panauhin sa pagdiriwang ng 116th Police Service Anniversary.
“Konting pagkakamali lang ng PNP, palalakihin nila yan in order to bring down the Duterte administration,” ani Dela Rosa.
Dahil dito, pinayuhan ng PNP chief ang mga pulis na gawin nang maayos ang kanilang trabaho at bantayan ang sariling ahensya upang mapaalis ang mga pulis-iskalawag.
“Let’s do our job properly, again and again. Our eagerness in doing our duties should not be in our hearts alone. Let’s use also our brain so that they cannot use that [lapses] against us. Let’s be vigilant against our erring personnel. Being law enforcers, we face criticisms from various sectors. We endure the risks and danger, not only in the conduct of operations, but also in rescuing and recovering victims of disasters,” aniya.
Dagdag nito, “Kaya mag-ingat kayo sa inyong trabaho, konting pagkakamali nasisilip nila at gigibain tayo.”
Sa naturang selebrasyon ay pinuri ni Dela Rosa ang pulis ng Region1, na pinangungunahan ni Chief Superintendent Charlo Collado, dahil sa pagiging best regional police office noong 2016. ERWIN BELEO / ABN
