PSA-BENGUET SUCCESSFULLY HOLDS OUTSTANDING PSA STAKEHOLDER’S APPRECIATION CEREMONY

BAGUIO CITY

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) — Benguet Provincial Statistical Office conducted the
Outstanding PSA Stakeholders’ Appreciation Ceremony. The conduct of the ceremony is in
recognition and appreciation of PSA partners who have been exemplary instrumental in the success of PSA programs and activities for the past ten (10) years and to motivate the PSA stakeholders to continue their support and involvement in future PSA activities.

This momentous event took place at Margarita Hall, Hotel Supreme, Baguio City on October 27, 2023 The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests including the Municipal Mayor of Atok, Hon. Franklin L. Smith, Municipal Mayor of Mankayan, Hon. Dario S. Banario, Municipal Mayor of
Tublay, Hon. Armando I. Lauro, the President of Easter College, Ma’am Cleofe Kollin, RSSO CAR- CRASD OIC Chief Gerard A. Tolito, and the PSA-Benguet Chief Statistical Specialist Imelda L. Buyuccan.

Moreover, heads and personnel both from PSA and LGUs of Benguet were also in attendance. The Stakeholders’ Awards were divided into several categories. The provincial government of Benguet, all its 13 municipalities and the City of Baguio were awarded as Outstanding Respondents for the Local Government Unit (LGU) Category and Outstanding Partners in Civil Registration.

Furthermore, for the Establishment Category, Adriste Philippines Inc., La Trinidad Water District, and Texas Instruments Philippines Inc., were awarded as Outstanding Respondents for the 2021 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (ASPBI) while the King’s College of the
Philippines and Mt. Supply Inc., Philippine Branch were awarded as Outstanding Respondents for the 2022 Quarterly Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (QSPBI).

The Outstanding Respondents for the Academe Category were Benguet State University (BSU), King’s College of the Philippines (KCP), Easter College, and Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC). The Top 4 City/Municipality with highest percentage of registration on the Philippine Identification System Step-2 Registration were awarded to: 1. Municipality of Tublay (97.00%); 2. City of Baguio (89.00%); 3. Municipality o f Kapangan (88.03%); and 4. Municipality of Bokod
(86.92%).

The award on the Outstanding Partner in Philippine Identification System Step-2 Registration were given to SM City Baguio and Porta Vaga Mall. Bombo Radyo Philippines and Radyo Pilipinas
Baguio were also awarded as Outstanding Media Advocates. And lastly, Public Attorney’s Office — Baguio City was awarded as Outstanding Partner in Legal Services.

The awarding of the outstanding PSA stakeholders serves as the closing activity for the 10″ PSA Anniversary celebration with the theme “PSA@10: Providing Quality Services Through Digital Transformation.”As we aspire for long years of successful endeavors, we encourage our partners and stakeholders to remain supportive and cooperative in all our undertakings for the progress of the nation.
