Rainy Season Sickness and Remedies

Good day everyone! Surely some of you are sick because of continuous Rain that were experiencing right now that keeps us a way of doing the things we should be doing. So what to do? Here are some tips to prevent us of Rainy Season Sickness.

Every Rainy Season some of the known Sickness we encounter are the following: Head ache (Migraine), Fever, Cough, Colds, Leptospirosis, Dengue, Malaria and etc…So in order to avoid this dilemma here are some of Home Remedy we can do.

Drink a Lukewarm Water every morning when you wake up for it opens your vocal cord and clears your intestine from toxins. Actually you can do it a habit of always drinking lukewarm water every time you are thirsty for it wash away oily foods that stuck on your body system.

Drink Lemon with Honey. Lemon is so cheap nowadays anyway, a squeeze of lemon to lukewarm water and one table spoon of honey and taking a sip of it while it is still warm clears your throat of mucus then warm your body and good for cleansing as well.

Eat Ginger. For some eating ginger when the voice is harsh and hurt clears the throat from cough and phlegm. Do try it! just like a bubble gum you have to do it that way to take out the juice of the ginger.

Drink Calamansi w/ Sugar. Drinking Calamansi with sugar on lukewarm water is also good for others but if you are acidic then this remedy is not for you. Better that you only drink lukewarm water every now and then.

Drink ONE shot glass of 2by2/Tonic or any Gin for clearing throat, cleansing of diaphragm and washing the bacteria away is also a good remedy but as the saying goes that “lahat ng sobra ay nakakasama.”

Drinking Vitamin C with Lukewarm water to dissolve the tablet fast is good for your health as what the doctors said. Wearing Jacket, Coat, Scarf, Boots, Knee Length Socks, Hair Bonnet or Cap this Rainy Season is the best way to keep our bodies warm and protected from any type of sickness. This is also one way to avoid dengue mosquito from biting any part of our body.

Bringing a Tumbler of Water, Umbrella and any menthol cream is also a good action for taking extra precaution in case we have felt something bad.

Eating food with a warm liquid (Sabsabaw) with green leafy vegetables is a good food to eat this Rainy Season like: Tinola, Bulalo, Pochero, Sinigang and Nilaga to make your body warm.
