Rider dies in a motorcycle-truck smash-up in Kalinga

BAGUIO CITY (August 17, 2021)— A motorcycle rider died on the spot after he smashed with with an Elf truck head on at around 12:15 PM Tueaday along the Cagayan-Kalinga national road in Barangay Calaocan, Rizal, Kalinga.

The male victim remains undidentified while tje truck driver was named as Angel Bajarin Agpawa, 20, from Naneng, Tabuk City, alao in that province.

According to Rizal police investigators, the motorcycle encroached to the opposite lane of the road then failed to go back on its lane and rammed into the truck.

The victim suffered multiple injuries all over his body killing him instantly upon impact.

The victim according to the police, was even dragged some 20 meters by the truck.

The driver of the elf meanwhile was brought to the Rizal police station pending any case against him.
