Rider dies while running away from his victim in Baguio

BAGUIO CITY (September 23, 2021)—A rider died while fleeing from his victim-rider Wednesday night here after he smashed into an electric post at Bakakeng Norte, here.
The victim was identified as Glen Jamil Padilla Elias, 24.
Elias reportedly came from Marcos Highway and was heading towards the direction of Bakakeng Sur when he first hit a fellow motorcycle rider and a backrider along the Bakakeng Norte Jeepney Turning Point.
Police said, Elias allegedly tried to run away from his victims but smashed into an electric post at the road bend. Because of the impact, Elias sustained fatal injuries resulting to his immediate death.
The motorcylce and other personal things of Elias were brought to the station 10 of the Baguio City Polive Station for safe keeping before they were turned-over to his kin.
