River clean-up

Two hundred twelve employees of Benguet Corporation, men of its ACMP contractors, barangay officials of Virac, Itogon and community residents participated in the clean-up drive along Acupan River. This is in compliance to the Adopt-a-Waterbody Program of the Environmental Management Bureau as BenguetCorp is one of the adopters and in observance of the Philippine Environment Month celebration every June. Included in the activity is the planting of 100 bamboo seedlings along the river bank. PR
