The city of Baguio commemorated the 127th anniversary of the martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal at the Rizal monument at Burnham Park in Baguio City on December 30, 2023. Here, city officials led by Congressman Mark Go, Mayor Benjamin Magalong and Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan with Philippine Military Academy Superintendent LtGen. Rowen Tolentino and Department of National Defense Undersecretary Pablo Lorenzo representing Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. who was the guest of honor and speaker, led the wreath laying during the Rizal Day ceremony.
