Rotarians called to fight polio anew

Rotary District 3790 Governor elect Jess Sama rallied the members of the Rotary Club of Baguio Highland to strengthen in the fight against the resurgence of Polio in the country.
Speaking before the newest Rotary Club in Baguio he said that the Philippines has been Polio Free for the last 19 years and Rotary has been in the forefront in the fight against Polio. He further revealed that the 10 Rotary Districts of the country had signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Health to help in the implementation of Government Anti-Polio programs.
Rotary Club of Baguio highlands headed by its charter President Ernesto “Tom” Panis was formally recognized by Rotary International this August 2019 and has 44 members in its roster.
