Rep. Paolo Z. Duterte – Deputy Speaker
June 24, 2020
Few days back, ACT-CIS Partylist Representative Eric Go Yap and Davao City First District Representative Paolo Z. Duterte filed House Bill No. 7012, also to be known as “Scholarship and Educational Grants to Public School Teachers and their Children Act.”
The said measure seeks to offer scholarship grants to public school teachers for their graduate and post-graduate studies and to give educational assistance in terms of cash allowance to their children enrolled in State Universities and Colleges (SUCs).
“We are striving to lift the social and economic burden from our teachers by granting them with opportunities to cultivate their expertise in a specialized area of study and by providing their children in tertiary education with educational assistance. Rest assured that we are looking into more ways to uplift the lives of our teachers to show our gratitude and appreciation for their hardwork,” Duterte stated.
