STREET LEVEL DRUG PERSONALITY BUSTED IN ABRA

Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet – As the PNP’s Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations continue region-wide, a Street Level drug personality was arrested in Barangay Bagalay, Tayum, Abra on March 15, 2021.
In his report, POLICE COLONEL CHRISTOPHER T ACOP, Abra Police Provincial Office, stated that Boyet A. Atmosfera, 33, listed as a Street Level Individual (SLI), was arrested in a successful buy-bust operation by joint PNP and PDEA antilegal drugs operatives near the suspect’s residence. Seized from his possession during the operation were two sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street price of Php 5,000.00; one STI Cal.45 pistol with one magazine and seven live ammunition; one extra magazine with five ammunitions; one RUSI motorcycle without plate number; cellphone; two 500-peso bills; sling and backpack.
The confiscated items were marked and inventoried onsite duly witnessed by Punong Barangay Edgar Tanora and Kagawad Manolo Jimenez of Bagala, Tayum, Abra. Drug evidence was brought to the Crime Laboratory for examination.
The arrested person was brought to Tayum MPS together with the recovered evidence for proper documentation prior filing of cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and Violation of RA 10591 also known as the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
