The province of Benguet, headed by Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas, sends off the province’s 20 delegates for the Philippine National Para Games, with financial assistance amounting to P5,000 each. The delegates hailing from La Trinidad, Tuba, Mankayan, Itogon, and Tublay will be participating in archery, chess, powerlifting, athletics, badminton, boccia, swimming, table tennis and wheelchair basketball. Governor Diclas thanked the delegates for their hard work and commitment, representing the province with pride. The event is set on November 11-14 at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex and PhilSports, Manila. It can be recalled that the last National Para Games was held in 2019 where Benguet garnered 25 medals, including six gold medals, nine silver medals, and 10 bronze medals.
