Ten Caught In Card Game, Cockfight In CAR

La Trinidad, Benguet (May 14, 2020) – Two were hauled to the jail in Sablan town in Benguet on Tuesday after they were caught playing “pusoy” card game while 7 more were also sent to jail in Tabuk City, Kaling on Sunday after they were caught also in the midst of a card game and an illegal cockfight in Bangued, Abra.

Marcos Ayaman Ogues and Johnie Allan Kiwan were caught at Lower Poblacion, Sablan, playing “pusoy” card game and policemen seized one set of playing cards and P1,300.00 bet money.

Ireneo Regaton Dumayas was caught in Appas, Tabuk City, while Vivian L. Luminio; Jacquelyn V. Acosta; Myrna B. Frias, Sherwin B. Simeon; Lea S. Alvarez; and Antonio G. Luminio were caught in the house of Luminio in Purok 5, Bulanao, also in Tabuk City playing card games. Police also seized P545.00 bet money and two sets of playing cards.

While Ryan Lobrino Vasquez was caught in an illegal cockfight in barangay Calaba South, Bangued, Abra on May 8. Police seized a dead fighting cock with a blade still on one of its feet.

Meanwhile, an alleged female drug offender Normina Ebrahim Baic alias “Nicole” was cornered after selling 5 small sachets of “shabu” to an undercover government agent in Barangay Longlong, Puguis, La Trinidad, Benguet on May 9.
