Patronizing locally produced products has significant economic, social and environmental benefits. One importance is it supports the local economy-when you buy locally produced goods, the money spent stays within the community. This can create jobs, supports local businesses specially in the municipality of La Trinidad which the population is growing and it will really help the local people living the community.

In terms of environmental benefits, local products typically require less transportation that will reduce carbon emissions that leads to air pollution and it can lessen the bumper to bumper vehicles in the municipality. The Third importance of patronizing local products is that it preserves the local culture and traditions of the local people, they can apply their skills and unique practices that might otherwise be lost. They can also commercialize their hand made products and that can attract buyers from other municipalities or even international to come and buy.

Local businesses tend to reinvest also in the municipality and may support and sponsor local events and charities. It also encourages innovations like local producers often more responsive to feedbacks of consumers that can lead to high quality, customized and of course unique products. Supporting local products can build resilience against global supply chain disruptions that is essential to remain accessible during crises. Buying locally produced products strengthens the local economy but also supports sustainability, community developed and cultural preservation.
