THIRTY PLUS COMAPANIES JOIN LA TRINIDAD JOB FAIR

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet

Some 30 local and international companies are participating in the job fair which started Saturday (March 25) at the town’s municipal gym.  The job  fair is one of the highlights of the 2023 Strawberry Festival, the first job fair of the year. “We promote local jobs so that they (the applicants) will see that there’s work in the Philippines that won’t require them to leave their country,” said Administrative Aide Cristel Joy Casemiro. The  La  Trinidad  Public Employment Service Office (PESO) hopes that the larger number of local companies will be able to help those that might be unable to leave the country to find work abroad due to the requirements or the cost of travel.

Among local companies are Summit Bank, Staffwise Solutions, Inc., Clean Fuel, Valley Bread, AIP Construction, One Puhunan Credit Access, Save More / Sanford Marketing Corporation, Hedcor-Aboitiz Power, Palawan Express, Home Credit, Addessa Baguio City, Cordillera Community Microfinance, Inc. (CCMI), Toyota Baguio City, RDS Enterprises, Northern Luzon Drug Corporation Mercury Drug La Trinidad Branch, WGE Corp, JTanglaw, FoundEver, GranVille, Ace Hardware, Fast Cash finance Company, Inc., and Staff Search Asia Service Cooperative.

Among the overseas organizations are the International Personnel Resources Phils. Ltd. Co., Global Professional Resources Phil. Inc., Placewell International Services Corporation, YHMD
International Manpower Services, Inc., PhilAsia Human Resources Inc., Multi-Resources Development Corporation, United Philippine Lines, Ascend International Services, Inc., and Manila On Time Express Manpower, Inc.. The local employment office said applicants are required to bring their resume, CV, or biodata, a black ballpen, and valid IDs.

For those applying for overseas companies, they are required to present their passport with photocopies. The event will only be open from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  La  Trinidad  also  conducts  job  fair  during the fourth quarter of the year to mark Micro Small and Medium Entrepreneurs Development Week (MSME) or Tourism Week.
