THREE DRUG TRADERS CAUGHT IN CAR

BAGUIO CITY(February 7, 2025)

Three alleged drug traders, one a very young male student, were taken from two separate drug stings in Kalinga, Benguet and Baguio City on Thursday. A 25 and 34-year-old drug suspect logged as “Street Level Individuals” were caught in a sting operation in Barangay Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga by policemen and PDEA agents when they sold six bricks of dried marijuana leaves weighing approximately 6,000.00 grams valued at P720,000.00 and three
sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 3.00 grams valued at P20,400.00.

While a male minor student was caught after three releasable plastic bags containing about 7.06 grams of dried marijuana valued at P847.20 was discovered from him by a school coordinator through their OPLAN “Kapkap.” He was then brought to the police then turned over to the City Social Welfare and Development Office. While in Benguet, three marijuana plantation sites with 1,680 Fully Grown Marijuana Plants valued at P336,000.00 were discovered in Barangay Kayapa, Bakun town by policemen and PDEA agents.
