Three hurt in Baguio shooting “Suspect eventually dies in a road accident”

BAGUIO CITY (August 30, 2021) –  A man who shot three individuals also died after meeting an accident while fleeing at around 8:07 PM Sunday along Naguillan Rd in 2nd Road, Quezon Hill barangay here.
Jeepney driver Rubillo Balmonte Distor, 47, a native of Pozzorubio Pangasinan but living in barangay MRR Queen of Peace, here, reportely shot and wounded Bernard Aglaba Carbonell, 45; construction worker Peter Carbonell Salvador, 47, and Niño Boy Arellano Carbonell 35, all his neighbors at MRR Queen of Peace, Baguio City.
Baguio City police said Distor who came from a birthday party engaged the three in a verbal spat that ended him into shooting the three.
Bernard Carbonnel sustained a gunshot wound on his chest and underwent an operation, while Peter also sustained a gunshot wound on his left foot while Niño Boy bore two gunshot wounds on his both feet.
Distor fled on board his vehicle after the shooting but met an accident killing him along Naguillan Rd., 2nd Road in Quezon Hill.
