TRIBO GAKAY LAUNCHED CHARITY EVENT AT SALPANG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Tribo Gakay (Kapatiran Kabalikat sa Kawanggawa) is a start-up charity organization dedicated to make a difference in the community. The members are the active Tiktok influencers who are committed to use their platforms to promote positive change. Their mission is to make a positive impact in the lives of those in need. Last December 7, 2024, they launched their first charity event at Salpang Elementary School through the initiative of Mr. Bartz Palaci who coordinated to the school head of the school, Mr. Henry Tinaza.

Salpang Elementary School learners received groceries, school supplies, boots, umbrellas and cash. They gave hygiene kit to the senior citizens and they handed cash to the PTA officers for their livelihood fund. Canon printer, books and book shelf were also given to the teachers. These gift of love provided brings joy, hope and thanks giving in the hearts of the beneficiaries as it is truly an inspiring act of having someone generously sharing love of their blessings to needy ones.

It was an emotional in the part of the recipients as it was overwhelming to see the variety of goods displayed that time and to see them with happiness, joy and sincere heart and benevolence. Aside from what was provided, the faculty staff was able to mention some of the logistic and technical support for skills and athletic development support needed to further enhance the abilities of the currently enrolled learners and the incoming learners to enroll in this school in order for these learners to be more competent and resilient and be able to achieve their respective ambitions and hoping to be a channel of blessings also in the future to the less fortunate ones.
