Two Benguet Cannabis Plantations Raided

BAGUIO CITY(October 14, 2020)— Two plantations were overran by policemen in sitio Lipucan, Poblacion, Kibungan, Benguet mid aftenoon Wednesday sending to ashes at least P34,000 worth of marijuana.
Kibungan town policement aided by Benguet provincial drug enforcement unit operatives and police intelligence agents discovered at the first plantation site with 70 fully grown MJ plants planted on an estimated 50 square meter lot valued at Php14,000.00. After torching down the first plantation, operatives found a second plantation with 100 fully grown MJ plants over an estimated 100 square meter lot valued at Php 20,000.00, which they also uprooted and put ablaze.
Noone was however caught responsible for the two plantations, Cordillera police director Brig. General RWin Pagkalinawan said.
