Two hurt in Benguet mountain to a collapsed community irrigation canal

Two farmers working on a community irrigation canal in sitio Tikop, barangay Karap, Bokod, Benguet were badly hurt
after it collapsed when the strong tremblor hit northern Philippines at 8:43 AM Tuesday.
Alfredo Coyos Boliquen, 60, and
Pedro Vicente Camilo, 62, both from Karao, Bokod, were fixing their community irrigation system when the earthquake struck which buried them with boulders.
Camilo was able to free himself from the rubble and asked for help.
Residents and rescuers successfully dug out Boliquen who suffered a leg injury while Camilo sustained a head injury.
Both were brought to Dennis Molintas District Hospital (DMDH) for medical attention, the Cordillera police said.
