Candle Light Vigil

Rank and File employees of the Benguet Electric Cooperative (BENECO) hold a candle light vigil Thursday, in support of their beleaguered O.I.C. GM Melchor Licoben (in photo) after the National Electrification Agency (NEA) choose and issued a board resolution 2021-47 endorsing industry outsider and current PCOO Under Sec. Marie B. Rafael to be the next GM of BENECO.
Under rules the Board of Directors (BOD) of BENECO must either accept or reject the NEA endorsement to fill the GM position in the electric distributor.
