19 YEARS-OLD ARRESTED FOR STEALING HELMET

The Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) is in custody of a 19- year-old male suspect after being caught stealing motorcycle helmets in a parking space along Jose Abad Santos Drive, Burnham-Legarda Barangay on May 6, 2025. Report submitted to PCol. Ruel D. Tagel, BCPO City Director shows that the suspect was caught red-handed stealing helmet left on a motorcycle. Shortly thereafter, another motorcycle
owner arrived at Mobile Patrol Unit (MPU, BCPO) to report a missing helmet which was also found in the suspect’s possession.

In response to this incident, personnel were directed to sustain intensified police presence in areas where crimes are likely to occur. While BCPO remains committed to ensuring the public’s safety and security in the city, the police urge the public to remain vigilant and to secure their belongings especially when in public. BCPO will continue to implement IMPLAN KALMANG Paglalakbay, aimed at providing a worryfree and secure experience for both residents and tourists traveling throughout the city.
