2 DIED, 7 INJURED IN KENNON ROAD MISHAP

Two died on the spot while seven others were rushed to the hospital after the truck they were on board fell into a 20-meter deep ravine at Camp 3, Kennon Road, Tuba, Benguet in the afternoon last August 4, 2023. The fatalities were identified as Jeffrey Cullientes, 27 years old foreman, and a resident of Quezon City and Mark Philip Ubaldo, 30 years old, laborer and a resident of San Nicholas, Nueva Ecija.

The seven individuals who suffered injuries were also identified as Kenneth Cabanban, 21; Joshua San Diego, 22;Ricky Dapresa, 33; Dan Hill Lipio, 30; Jomar Sanches, 38; Emerson Tolentino 31, and the driver Dariel Nuqui. They were all rushed to the hospital by the responders. Tuba Police said the truck was traversing along Kennon Road in Camp 3 area when the vehicle experienced loose brakes. The driver lose control of the truck then the truck hit a concrete barrier along the road. The truck then fell into the ravine Three of the injured were already discharged from the hospital while the others are still recuperating from their wounds.
