ANTI-DENGUE SPRAYING

The City Health Services Offices through its Sanitation Division under Engr. Charles Bryan Carame conducts anti-dengue spraying operations in targeted barangays, particularly those with a critical number of cases.
It is advised that every household should apply the DOH 4-S Strategy which stands for the “Search and Destroy” mosquito-breeding sites within the household, “Self-protection measures” such as applying mosquito repellent and wearing of long sleeve shirts and pants, “Seek early consultation” and “Support fogging/spraying” at identified mosquito breeding spots.
The city has recorded a total of 216 cases from Jan. 1 to May 28 which is a 120% increase from the number of cases during the same period last year.
