ABRA VENDOR SHOT DEAD WITH 12 GUAGE SHOTGUN
BANGUED, Abra – A vendor was shot pointblank with a 12- gauge shotgun early dawn Wednesday in Barangay
Bangbangar, Bangued, Abra. Jake Villanueva Borce, 28,together with an unidentified woman and another villager
were returning the bag of John Paul Bulos alias Suba from Barangay Sinapangan, Zone 6, also in Bangued, when the latter brought out a shotgun and pumped one shell unto the former’s chest.
Bangued town police learned from one of those who accompanied the victom to return the suspect’s bag that Bulos immediately fled after the shooting. The victim, who sustained eight wounds on his right chest, was rushed by his relatives to the Seares Memorial Hospital in Bangued but was declared dead-on-arrival. Crime scene investigators found a plastic wad of a gauge 12 shotgun where the shooting occured A manhunt was launched against the suspect, Bangued police said, while ascertaining what really prompted the shooting.
