Abra with 1 remaining Covid patient

Abra has a single remaining COVID19 positive patient. Abra governor Ma. Jocelyn Bernos said the patient is at the provincial isolation facility in Bangued, the province’s capital.
“I hope there will be no more addition to the cases,” the lady governor said, while reminding her province-mates to maintain observing minimum health protocols. Travel passes will also resume to be issued by the Provincial IATF on Wednesday (September 2), with a “no-contact” policy processing, though Gov. Bernos warned, “only for essential travels”.
Also on Wednesday, Abra will resume its 50 percent venue capacity limit for mass gatherings, trainings, seminars and other similar activities. Masses in churches, prayer meetings, bible studies and other religious-related activities will resume observing the 50 percent capacity and health protocols observed, Bernos added.
The lady governor also announced that provincial government employees would receive their hazard pay this week, while employees at the Provincial Health Office will also receive their Special Risk Allowances (SRA).
Abra had a total of 62 COVID19 cases with a single death.
