Almost 700 Caught Violating Curfew In Cagayan Valley

Tugegarao City (March 26, 2020) — Authorities caught almost 700 violators of the curfew in Cagayan Valley region, as policemen stepped up quarantine campaigns in the region to contain the further spread of COVID19.
Cagayan Valley region director Brig. Gen. Angelito Casimiro said Cagayan recorded the highest number of arrested violators (201) while Isabela with 134, Nueva Vizcaya with 189, Quirino with 29 and Santiago City with 140.
Batanes remains to be “the most peaceful place” in the implementation of curfew hours (in a week’s time only) from March 19-25, added Casimiro.
“I am appealing to the public to please cooperate with us. We are doing this for our on safety and protection and your policemen are duty-bound to take precautionary measures to safeguard you,” Casimiro told the Cagayan Valley people. Casimiro is a native of Nueva Vizcaya.
