Valor Day commemorated in Baguio City with World War 2 Veteran Florencio B. Esteban as the keynote speaker a survivor Bataan Death March, 11th Division, USAFFE. Engr. Floremon Esteban recalled and shared the story of his father, Lt. Florencio Esteban, on the formation of the 66th Infantry Regiment United States Armed Forces of Far East. and the suffering of Filipino and American soldiers after the fall of Bataan where the soldiers marched almost hundreds of kilometers to Capas Tarlac. City Officials who joined the commemoration led by City Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong, Baguio Rep.Mark Go, the City Council led by Vice-Mayor Faustino Olowan, City Police Director P/Col. Ruel D. Tagel – City Director BCPO, Police Regional Office -CAR, and other guests. The celebration was held on April 9, 2025 held at Veterans Park, Baguio City.
