Assassins Kill Abra Drug Pusher

CAMP DANGWA, LA TRINIDAD, Benguet (January 27, 2020) — Assassins waylaid an alleged drug trafficker Monday morning in La Paz, Abra.

Rex Malangen Bonnit, 41, was aboard a Mio motorcycle motorcycle with plate number AU22953 coming from Bangued, Abra when assassins opened fire at around 8:30 AM along the Abra-Ilocos Norte road, at Sitio Dalaguisen, Barangay San Gregorio, La Paz, Abra.

Bonnit, identified by the Abra police as a drug personality, is a resident of Sitio Banbani, Barangay Padangitan, Danglas, Abra. The assassins reportedly fled towards the east going to Barangay Toon, alao in La Paz.

The victim was brought to the Abra Provincial Hospital but was declared dead on arrival by Dr. Rolex Gonzales. Crime scene probers found four fired cartridges of Cal. 45 pistol. Abra police claimed it has still to ascertain what really prompted the killing.
