Aurora Hill substation hosts kiddie fire safety roadshow

A total of about 75 children from the 14 barangays in Aurora Hill Proper, Baguio City are set to participate in a Kiddie Fire Safety Roadshow, to be held at Doña Nicasia Elementary School, Aurora Hill, and Baguio City on the 23rd of November 2019.
Spearheaded by Aurora Hill Fire Station through the leadership of their Substation Fire Marshal INSP JESUSA P CATUNGAL, the event aims to promote fire safety awareness and basic first aid to children through fun activities such as rappelling and games in firefighting and First Aid.
A total of six stations will be set up where the participants, children ages 8 to 14 years old, will take turns in accomplishing the activities in each station. Baguio City Councilors Hon. Betty Lourdes Flores Tabanda and Hon. Lilia Aromin Fariñas will be attending the event as guests of honor and speakers. Baguio City Fire Marshal CINSP NESTOR C GORIO will also be attending the roadshow.
The program is set to begin at 8 in the morning and will conclude at 5 o’clock in the afternoon.
