Avant Garde nail fashion show comes to Baguio

BAGUIO CITY – Binondo Beauty Supply (BBS), the country’s sole distributor of a leading global brand of nail and gel polish Bluesky, is set to throw a grand launching through a posh nail fashion show early next month at the ballroom of the Crown Legacy Hotel here.
Bluesky is a brand from the United Kingdom that boasts of its new and advanced technology combined with durability and beauty enclosed in its products, BBS Marketing Manager Edz Santos said in an interview on Thursday.
It has been around for nine (9) years now and introduced in the Philippines two (2) years ago. It was launched last March at the Grand Hyatt in Manila, and in Cebu last month.
“We would like to share the technology here in Baguio, and to uplift the mindset of people saying that the beauty industry is just as simple as using a shear and a comb,” Santos said.
Bluesky’s new and advanced nail art/technology offers nail and gel polishes that wearers could easily use in creating blooming and monochromatic effects that stay durable, lasting for about a month and a half.
They also have gum gels in their product line recommended for nail extensions and sculpting to create elaborate nail art designs.
“Aside from its durability, we made the process simpler with Bluesky. Usually, it would take 6-7 processes, but with Bluesky, the process is cut to three (3) and done in less time,” Santos said.
“Nail art designing usually takes a minimum of four (4) hours to complete. With Bluesky technology, the process is done in 20 to 30 minutes only,” Santos added.
Santos also said that the reason they are bringing the technology in Baguio is to showcase how Bluesky can make life easy for beauty enthusiasts, LGBTs, PWDs, aside from those from the mainstream industry.
“Once they have learned the technology, it could be a way for them to stay home-based to earn income. Those without sources of income and who have not found their passion yet, and will try the technology, will like it and it could be a ‘pangkabuhayan’ showcase for them,” Santos said.
Santos also said that Bluesky products are FDA approved, Halal certified, nontoxic, and formaldehyde-free. Bluesky technology is already used by leading salons in Metro Manila like Fabulous Salon and Spa and Posh Nails.
Bluesky will be launched in Baguio on Tuesday, June 4 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm at the ballroom of Crown Legacy Hotel through an Avant Garde nail art fashion show to be led by beauty industry idol and BBS company ambassador Fanny Serrano.
Nail Art collections will be showcased during the launch. A seminar will also be conducted during the launch where attendees will learn the latest technology in the nail art business, including costing.
