The history of the city market in photos is shown to the public in an exhibit at the Peoples Park.
The photos show how the market was established in the 1930s and destroyed during the 1990 killer earthquake.
The administration of Mayor Benjamin Magalong has identified the modernization of the city market to make it a show window for tourism of Baguio, but some of market stakeholder opposed it.
