BAGUIO’S FINEST CONDUCTS OUTREACH PROGRAM TO CULTIMATE 29TH PCR AND CELEBRATE 123RD PSA

BAGUIO CITY

The Baguio City Police Office marked the conclusion of the 29th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month themed “Ligtas Ka Sa Bagong Pilipinas,” and celebrated the 123rd Philippine National Police Service Anniversary (PSA) with an Outreach Program at People’s Park, Malcolm Square, Baguio City, on August 8, 2024. The BCPO City Director,
PCOL FRANCISCO B BULWAYAN, JR., formally opened the program. In his speech, he expressed gratitude to the community for their unwavering support of BCPO’s initiatives.

He also lauded the invaluable contributions of stakeholders who were instrumental to the success of the 29th PCR Month in July, and expressed optimism that this collaborative partnership would endure beyond the program’s
conclusion. PCOL ELMER E RAGAY, PRO-CAR Deputy Regional Director for Operations, graced the event. He commended the BCPO for their exceptional performance in implementing community-oriented programs and activities.

Inspiring both the community and the police, he emphasized, “As we move forward, let us deepen our involvement in transformative and strengthened Police Community Relations endeavors to elevate our public service standards.”
In appreciation for the success of the PCR month, outstanding individuals, organization and unit were recognized.

Certificates of recognition were given to Ms. Soledad D. Benwaren, Pastor Boaz F. Guanzon, Ms. Clemencia Hidalgo B. Lapas, Mr. Ruel P. Padil, Mr. Jorge S. De Vera, Ms. Maria Cecilia N. Lardizabal, Mr. Arnel A. Cayatoc, Ms.
Anjonette M. Dacyon, Mr. Daniel P. Osay, Mr. Noli A. Tan, Mr. Larry and Mrs. Rosette Smith, Ms. Myrna DC. Campos, Mr. Bobby P. Atayan, Mr. Ruel P. Padil, Mr. Ralph Eduardo A. Yambao, Mr. Rafael C. Valencia, and Agtitinulong ti Pulis ken Residente para ti Urnos ti Baguio (APRUB), represented by their president, Mr. Henry B. Bongyao.

A Plaque of Recognition was awarded to the City Mobile Force Company (CMFC) for being adjudged as the Best Unit in Community Affairs and Development for the month of July 2024. Additionally, plaques of recognition were given to PLTCOL CZYMEERE NICANOR A VALENCERINA and PSMS Graciano C Bitaga for being the Best Police Commissioned Officer (PCO) and Best Police Non-Commissioned Officer (PNCO) in Community Affairs and
Development, respectively.

As the highlight of the event, the BAGUIO’s FINEST, together with the Officers’ Ladies Club (OLC) of BCPO, distributed school supplies to chosen beneficiaries. Setting the stage for continued partnership and progress, the BAGUIO’s FINEST remains committed progress in ensuring a safer and more harmonious Baguio City.
