A significant shift in the weather, signaling the end of the dry season and the beginning of the rainy season, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA). This transition brings increased rainfall and cooler temperatures, providing relief from the heat and dryness from the previous months. The rainy season brings new life to the city, making it an ideal time to explore its wonders and enjoy the cool, refreshing climate. Brace yourself for a wet and wild ride. According to PAGASA’s latest weather forecast, the city can expect above-average rainfall throughout May. From May 13-22, PAGASA forecasts temperatures to range from 17°C to 25.5°C, with thunderstorms and heavy downpours expected. “As we settle into the rainy season, let’s prioritize our safety and well-being, with preparation and caution, we can enjoy Baguio’s beauty while staying safe and dry. By being mindful of weather updates from PAGASA, taking necessary precautions, and looking out for one another, we can navigate the challenges of the rainy season and make the most of this time of year” PAGASA said.
