The Baguio Correspondents and Broadcasters Club started the annual seven-day Lucky Summer Visitors and Media Camp at the picnic grove at Burnham Park Monday in anticipation of the search of this year’s LSVs on Thursday. BCBC president Dionisio Dennis led his officials in setting up the 900 square meter area for week long camp that included put up of water line from the Baguio Water District and tents from the Association of CBarangay Council. “We are ready,” said the DZWT reporter as he awaited the power and internet
connections from the Benguet Electric Cooperative and Converge to complete the set up.
Dennis expects work to go full blast on Wednesday with the Department of Tourism – Cordillera hosted press conference at the Media Camp. Early Thursday, Dennis, screening and tour director Charles Nikko Limon and documentation head Darius Bajo lead media to Pugo, LA Union to select the LSVs from a Baguio bound bus. From there, the LSVs are brought to Tuba to visit mayor Clarita Sal-ongan, before proceeding to the Media Camp for the introduction of the LSVs in a press con. Friday is the Baguio tour and Saturday will see the LSVs in Atok, Tublay and La Trinidad. The LSVs will be given a farewell sendoff on Sunday before they board a bus back home.
