BCBC TREE PLANTING

The Baguio Correspondents and Broadcasters Club held a tree planting activity at the Busol Watershed on Saturday last week, June 28. BCBC president Dionisio Dennis, Jr. said the
activity is part of the revived Eco-Walk program of the BCBC in partnership with the city government of Baguio. The eco-walk is a children’s environmental awareness and value formation program where school pupils are taught on the importance of trees in Baguio City at one of the city’s remaining pine forest and source of potable water like Busol. BCBC members along with their children who were called “eco-warriors” and other family members planted more than 100 pine tree seedlings during the activity.
