Just like the early morning sunrise, power is slowly being restored in Mankayan. Slowly but surely,
restoration of power has started from the Bulalacao, Mankayan substation. Neighbouring (near the
substation) communities now has power. Our engineers said the BENECO crew is making sure that our distribution lines are “safe” with no possible causes of tripping that can cause damage that will delay restoration. Father Chris Aban blessed the newly installed 10 MVA power substation transformer (leased from ISECO) and the whole substation facility.
