Benguet Governor Melchor Diclas with Police Regional Office – Cordillera Director PBGen. Ronald Lee and Benguet Provincial Police Office Director PCol. Reynaldo Pasiwen welcomed three former rebels who surrendered back to the folds of the law at the Benguet Provincial Capitol on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.
The three former rebels are former Militia ng Bayan members from the Kilusang Laranang Gerilya – North Abra who already settled in the province of Benguet.
The rebels turned over their firearms and also received an initial financial support from the provincial government as they will still be undergoing processing and documentation if for other benefits from the government including the
