Various civic organizations will conduct a public forum entitled, “Beyond the Ballot: Knowing Your Candidates”, on April 13, 2025, 9:00 am to 5pm at the Baguio Convention and Cultural Center. Timmy Mondiguing, the forum’s lead convenor, said the activity aims to provide the electorate with an opportunity to engage with and learn more about the political candidates running for local office in the Summer Capital for the upcoming elections. The forum’s other convenors include JCI Baguio Inc president.; James Casino; Tolitz Villanueva, Asst. Gov., Rotary District Cluster 1C; Dr. Joy Balderas, Regional chairperson, Lions Club; Atty. Kenneth Gabaen, Chief, Baguio Apaches; Ton Ton Papa, President, Law Students UB; and Eric Lavarias, President, Baguio AKRHO.

It will feature an open discussion where candidates will be given the opportunity to present their respective platforms and respond to key
issues concerning the city plus a question and answer… Mondiguing added. “This initiative aligns with our commitment to civic
engagement, voter education and responsible leadership. It will greatly benefit the citizens of Baguio in making informed decisions for the upcoming elections,” Mondiguing stressed. “We appeal to the people of Baguio to be involved in the biggest ever public forum because whether we like it or not, the upcoming elections will directly and indirectly affect our lives, those of our loved ones and future generations to come. We have to vote wisely,” Mondiguing appealed.
