BAGUIO CITY (June 27, 2021)—The Cordillera region has remained under low risk in terms of HCUR with an average occupancy rate of 44.22%, though slightly hiking up from last week.
Though Apayao is under critical risk with all of its two mechanical ventilators currently being utilized while Baguio City with 72.39% bed occupancy rate is at high risk.
Abra with 16.67%, Benguet with 50%, Ifugao with 34.88%, Kalinga with 18.75%, and Mountain Province with 16.88% bed occupancy rates are all under low risk.
On June 16, DOH noted the average occupancy rate at 39.50%.
Baguio City then was placed at 63.72% occupancy rates, though was under moderate risk while Abra with on 28.57%, Apayao 54.24%, Benguet with 60%, Ifugao with 35.90%, Kalinga with 15.63%, and Mountain Province with 18.45% bed occupancy rates, which were under low risk.
HCUR only reflects number of available and occupied beds for #COVID19 patients only, not the full bed capacity of hospitals and infirmaries.
Under the IATF guidelines, government hospitals must allocate at least 30% of their bed capacity and private health facilities must allocate at least 20% of their bed capacity for COVID-19 case management.
