With renewed determination and focused training, the elementary baseball team of Cordillera Administrative Region is optimistic for a
strong comeback at the 2025 Palarong Pambansa slated from May 24 to June 2 in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. Driven by lessons from last year’s campaign, the team has intensified its preparations in hopes of clinching a podium finish this time around. For many of the athletes,
including Dan Pagaduan who is returning for his second appearance, the upcoming games represent a second chance at redemption. “Di po kami nanalo last year, losers po kami” he shared, reflecting on their previous performance.
The 65th edition of this public school-based and the country’s premier inter-regional sporting event, gathers thousands of student-athletes
from across the Philippines compete in 34 sports disciplines. For the young players of the region , this is more than a tournament — it’s a stage to showcase their hard-earned skills, dedication, and team spirit. In preparation for the national games, the team has been engaging in rigorous training, tune-up matches, and local competitions to strengthen their coordination and competitiveness. Crucial to their journey is the unwavering support from their families, local sports authorities, and the wider community, all rooting for the team to succeed.
