CARE FOR THE TREES
Pocket miners of Ucab Indigenous Community Livelihood Association (UICLA), headed by Marzan Lubante, apply fertilizer to some 1,500 pine trees at a 5-hectaret lot under its three-year reforestation program located at Sitios Poded and Ba-ayan, Ucab, Itogon.
The environmental program of the group is supported by Benguet Corporation.
Personnel of the Police Community Relations (PCR) unit of Itogon Municipal Police Station (MPS), led by Police Senior Master Sergeant Zachary Dale Oway also assisted in the activity held on June 20.
