Celebrating “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day”

A dotting mother of 3, DSWD spokesperson Director Irene Dumlao, feeds her youngest daughter, at a restaurant here on Sunday, in time for the country’s celebration of the “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day” on Monday, as part of the celebration of the National Family Week celebrations in the country.
The yearly celebration under Presidential Proclamation 326 series of 2012, stresses the importance of common family meal to encourage paresnts to remain connected with their children. In this year’s celebration, the DSWD and the National Committee on the Filipino family advocates tfor the strengthening and protection of the Filipino family amids the COVID19.
