Baguio has always been an all-time favorite tourist destination especially during Christmas season. It’s charm being mountainous, the cold climate, its natural beautiful environment.
Christmas celebration in the city of pines can be a magical experience. As early as now one can experience a fantasy themed park the avengers and game of thrones inspired Christmas village of the Baguio Country Club? A visit at the Manor Camp John Hay will delight you as you get to see spectacular traditional Christmas lights and that winter holiday feels.
The most exciting part would be,” An Enchanting Baguio Christmas.” As per the Public Information Office, Mayor Benjamin Magalong issued executive order (EO) 131 declaring November 2019 to January 2019 as, “Enchanting Christmas in Baguio 2019.”
Various activities will be prepared, different venues around the city, in collaboration with the city offices, as well as government line agencies, including those from the private and the business sectors as well. Activities would be the Christmas Fair, Lights and Sounds Show, Christmas tree, Sports infusions, community centered events, and arts programs.
It will be a one of a kind experience not just for the locals but for the tourists as well. The City Tourism and Special Events, Environmental and Parks Management, GSO, Baguio City Police, Baguio Fire Department, CBAO, DPWH, PIA, CRDDMC, Baguio Tourism Council and other concerned offices are tasked to assist the said event.
Definitely it will be a magical Christmas season and a meaningful yuletide here in the highlands.
