Cleanup Drive

Some residents and barangay officials of Poliwes assisted by employees of PENRO Benguet and EMB-CAR show sacks of different waste materials mostly non-biodegradable and residuals collected during a cleanup drive along their waterways last December 13, 2019.

The cleanup is a simultaneous activity with other barangays covering Bued River within Baguio City and Tuba, Benguet and Loo River within Buguias, Benguet. Residents and visitors are reminded again to observe proper cleanliness and discipline and not to dump any garbage along waterways contributing to the degradation of rivers and the death of its living species.
