COLLAPSED RIPRAP ALONG LEONARD WOOD ROAD

The continuous heavy downpour brought by monsoon rains may have caused the collapsed of the riprap wall along Leonard Wood Road, but the City government said that they will conduct an initial investigation to the cause of the collapse of the wall claiming that road cracks were noticed at the sidewalk due to swaying of electric post and pine trees.
The DPWH Baguio City District Engineering Office constructed the riprap wall two years ago.
The city government already asked the DPWH Baguio City Engineering District for the immediate repair of the damage portion of the road. No reported casualties during the incident.
