The Department of Education-Cordillera received recognitions during the DepEd National Tech Ed Awards gala night held at the Benitez Hall, Teacher’s Camp, Baguio City.
The DepEd-CAR was among the awardees for the Most Outstanding Regional Office for DepEd TV. For the Best Technology Educational Innovation Program, the DepEd-CAR Regional Office was awarded the Project HYTEQ and the Mountain Province School Division Office won with their Project TransformED.
Frank Lloyd De Guzman of DepEd SDO Baguio won as Most Outstanding Teacher – Broadcaster for the Physical Education subject. Jumar Yago-an was an awardee in the Regional Information Technology Officer category, while Loida Elaine Tibong was an awardee for the Outstanding Division Technology Officer.
